As part of their major Freight Terminal improvements, Eurotunnel have made significant investment to provide a secure Truck Park for drivers and to reinforce the protection of their Coquelles terminal. They have also decided to convert some of the Truck Park spaces into a dedicated buffer zone in order to keep drivers safely away from the motorway when waiting to use the Eurotunnel service.
Eurotunnel's systems have now been successfully tested and the Truck Park in Coquelles will officially open on Tuesday 26th June 2018.
Conveniently located within the French terminal, customers will benefit from the highest level of security with
- Lighting
- High fences
- CCTV cameras
- Thermal detection
- Regular patrols
- 24/7 monitoring from our dedicated Control Centre
Drivers can easily stop for a quick break, grab a snack, refuel at the Total service station or enjoy any of the services available within the Eurotunnel Truck Park.
Please note that although the entry barriers will be operational before Tuesday 26th June, parking rates will ONLY be applicable from Tuesday 26th June 2018 at 00:00 CET. THE FIRST HOUR will remain FREE of charge.
IMPORTANT All vehicles parked up to 25th June will need to exit the Truck Park by 23:59 CET. Any vehicle remaining in the Truck Park beyond 00:00 on 26th June will be charged the standard rates for the entire duration of their stay.
How will it work?
- For Toll Tag (TIS Box) users - the entry barrier will SIMPLY OPEN automatically on arrival and as the vehicle exits.
- For all other payment methods - the driver will need to take the ticket at the entrance to open the barrier and will need to insert it as required when exiting the Truck Park.
- Drivers will be able to pay for their stay by card from the machine located at the exit or directly at the Driver Information Centre where cash payment will also be accepted in EUR or GBP (Bureau Information Fret).
